25 APRIL MEETING NOTES

Nine people attended: Burt (read three chapters of Jocks), Casey (read a chapter from Francine Stein), Glenda, Joanne, Lance (read four chapters from South), Maddie, Rosie, Stace, and after a long absence, Richard (done with tax season!).

News & Notes

Burt said that the Crime Writers’ Conference in Pasadena is now sold out.

Casey mentioned a new product by Literature and Latte (the folks that brough us Scrivener): Scapple, a $15 tool that helps users create freeform network diagrams. The company calls it “a freeform text editor that allows you to make notes anywhere on the page and to connect them using straight dotted lines or arrows.” As usual for L&L, it’s only available for Mac right now.
