Nine people attended: Burt, Casey (read the penultimate chapter from Francine Stein), Glenda, Jo, Joanne, Lance, Maddie, Shari and Stace. Jo brought cookies (don’t tell Panera!).

Glenda forwards a post on PBS MediaShift regarding the costs of independent publishing. While some of the figures appear to be inflated, it’s a good laundry list of the kinds of expenses a soon-to-be indie author may face or choose to undertake.
