11 FEBRUARY MEETING NOTES

Ten people attended: Burt (read 2.5 chapters from Dead is Not Enough, which used to be called other things), Casey, Glenda, Jo, JoAnne (read a short story, “A Flimsy Little Story”), Lance, Maddie, Rosie (read two chapters from On Thin Ice), Shari, and the long-awaited return of Ava.

News and Notes

Lance and Steve J. will make a dual appearance at Book Carnival in Orange on Saturday, 13 Feb at 3:00 p.m. Book Carnival is an independent bookstore that specializes in mysteries and thrillers. It promotes independent and debut authors as well as hosting appearances by big-name authors (such as Robert Crais and Craig Johnson). Lance and Steve will read from their novels and interview each other. Admission is free. Book Carnival is located at 348 South Tustin Street in Orange, CA.

LIT UP! will enjoy a brief hiatus before returning on 22 March.
