SCWA: Eric Beetner, “How To Be A More Prolific Writer,” 19 May 2018

SCWA logoThe 19 May Southern California Writers Association meeting features Eric Beetner, hardboiled-crime author and podcaster, speaking on “How To Be A More Prolific Writer.”

Eric’s been nominated for two Anthony awards, an ITW award, and a Derringer, and won the 2012 Stalker award for Most Criminally Underrated author. In addition to writing or co-writing at least sixteen novels, a short-story collection and at least four novellas, he co-hosts the Noir at the Bar reading series and the Writer Types podcast.

The meeting takes place at the Claim Jumper restaurant on 18050 Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley. Doors open at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:00. Tickets are $25 for members, $35 for non-members ($30 with a reservation), and include a buffet breakfast. Check the SCWA website for more information.
