SCWA logoThe 15 September Southern California Writers Association meeting features NYT best-selling true-crime author and LIT UP! alum Caitlin Rother speaking about wrestling any story into narrative structure.

Caitlin Rother has written or co-authored twelve books and several Kindle ebooks. A Pulitzer-nominated investigative journalist, Caitlin worked nearly twenty years for daily newspapers. She now writes books full-time, appearing regularly on TV and radio as a crime expert. She also helps aspiring authors as a writing/research coach and consultant, and teaches narrative non-fiction and other classes at San Diego Writers, Ink.

The meeting takes place at the Claim Jumper restaurant on 18050 Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley. Doors open at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:00. Tickets are $25 for members, $35 for non-members ($30 with a reservation), and include a buffet breakfast. Check the SCWA website for more information.
