Sisters-in-Crime Orange County: Joe Ide, 28 July 2019

July 19, 2019

Sisters in Crime - Orange County logoThe 28 July Sisters in Crime – Orange County meeting will feature Edgar- and Anthony Award-nominated mystery author Joe Ide.

Joe Ide grew up in South Central Los Angeles. His favorite books were the Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes stories. The idea that a person could face the world and vanquish his enemies with only his intellect fascinated him. Joe went on to earn a graduate degree and had several careers before writing his debut novel, IQ, inspired by his early experiences and love of Sherlock. Joe lives in Santa Monica, California. The sequels, Righteous and Wrecked, have also received great reviews.

Sisters in Crime – Orange County meets monthly at the Irvine Ranch Water District on 15500 Sand Canyon Av. in Irvine. The meeting starts at 2 p.m. with the regular Writers/Readers Forum; the guest speaker will begin at 3 p.m. Admission is free, but membership is always encouraged.
