SCWA: Naomi Hirahara, “Writing & Creating Unique Series Characters,” 21 Sep 2019

SCWA logoThe 21 September Southern California Writers Association meeting features Edgar Award-winning mystery author Naomi Hirahara.

Naomi is an American writer and journalist. She edited the largest Japanese-American daily newspaper, The Rafu Shimpo, for several years. She is currently a writer of both fiction and non-fiction works, including the Edgar-winning Mas Arai mystery series.

The meeting takes place at the Claim Jumper restaurant on 18050 Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley. Doors open at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:00. Tickets are $25 for members, $35 for non-members ($30 with a reservation), and include a buffet breakfast. Check the SCWA website for more information.
