Glenda passes on information about an unusual writing contest by Esquire magazine: write a short story with exactly 78 words by 7 October. Finalists win round-trip airfare to New York City, lodging and a writing workshop courtesy of the Aspen Writers’ Foundation. Rules are available on the Esquire website.
