11 SEPTEMBER MEETING NOTES

Eleven people attended: Burt, Casey (read a chapter from The Boy Who Couldn’t Fly), Glenda, Jo, Kari (read the conclusion to her untitled short story), Lance (read a chapter from the Fake reboot), Maddie, Richard, Shari, Stace and Steve J. (read the first two chapters of Lust Gambit).

News & Notes

The next LIT UP! is happening 7-9 p.m. on 30 September at Kean Coffee. The author lineup:

• Terri Nolan will read samples from her Burden of Truth trilogy.
• Burt Golden will read from Jericho’s Walls
• Steve Jackson will read from The Zeus Payload

The Facebook event is up; I’ll post flyers soon.

We’re still looking for a venue for LIT UP North! in the Fullerton/Placentia/Brea area, perhaps something along the lines of the Kean Coffee model. If you know of such a thing, please reply in the comments.
