2 OCTOBER MEETING NOTES

Eleven people attended: Burt (read six chapters from The Dead Listing), Casey (read a chapter from The Boy Who Couldn’t Fly), Glenda, Kari, Lance, Maddie, Marianna, Richard, Rosie (read a chapter from On Thin Ice), Stace, and a special guest reappearance from Marsha.

News & Notes

The 30 September LIT UP! drew about seventeen people to Kean Coffee in Tustin. Authors Terri Nolan and out own Burt Golden and Steve Jackson read excerpts from their works and submitted to Maddie’s interrogation. Good job, all!

The next LIT UP! is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. on 21 October at Kean Coffee. It will likely be the last for this year.

We’re still looking for a venue for LIT UP North! in the Fullerton/Placentia/Brea area, perhaps something along the lines of the Kean Coffee model. If you know of such a thing, please reply in the comments.
