26 MAY MEETING NOTES

Eleven people attended: Burt, Casey (read two chapters from The Boy Who Couldn’t Fly), Glenda, Jo, Lance, Maddie, Marianna (read a chapter from Truth Games) and her brother, Mark H. (read four chapters from Everything Beastly in the World), Rosie and Shari.

News and Notes

Burt shared an excerpt from a Writer’s Digest article concerning backstory, written by author David Corbett. Thanks!

The 2nd Anniversary LIT UP! drew an almost-capacity crowd of 28 people on 24 May. Maddie ably ran the one-ring circus and even brought LIT UP-themed cookies for the audience. The next LIT UP — an all-mystery program — will happen on 21 June at Kean Coffee in Tustin.
