26 SEPTEMBER MEETING NOTES
Eight people attended: Benafsha A. (two chapters from Jewels of Herat), Burt, Chris L. (a short story, “So Far, So Good”), Glenda, Hunter B., Joanne, Lance (a chapter from The Bluejay of Mullingar), and Rosie (the first two chapters of a new historical novel, In Arcadia, Ego).
NEWS & NOTES
We’ll continue to meet at Urban Plates (in The Crossroads shopping center at Barranca and Culver in Irvine) until we don’t.

From your email, I see writers are reading part of their novels. We will be out of town next week, but would love to join this group. First, perhaps, as an observer?

Yes, you can come if you’re not a writer, though you’re likely to get more out of the experience if you’re a practicing or aspiring writer.
We don’t have observers. If you come, you participate as a critiquer. This helps to teach the members how to read other people’s works critically so they can do the same with their own works.
