6 AUG MEETING NOTES

A bumper 10 (!!) people attended: Benafsha A., Darryl M. (four chapters from What He Saw in the Dark), Joanne (a short story, “Fear as a Foe or Friend?”), Lance, Leighanne (the first two chapters of On the Steps of the Palace), Matthew M., Paul D., Rosie (a chapter from The Actress and Mr. Kennedy), and two returning PFL members, Casey and Chris L. (welcome back!). This is the highest meeting attendance since September 2024.

NEWS & NOTES

Leighanne has proposed that PFL try out the restaurant at Great Park Ice (888 Ridge Valley in Irvine) as a potential new meeting place. This may solve the noise and space issues we’ve experienced at Corner Bakery. The test run may happen at the beginning of September. Stay tuned!
