The February issue of Glamour includes an article about Dear Bully, the nonfiction anthology to which Melodye is a contributor. Melissa Walker’s blog has an unauthorized preview.
The Write Environment — a DVD series featuring hour-long interviews with leading screenwriters such as Joss Whedon and Damon Lindelof — airs on KCET at 10PM Wednesdays and 11PM Saturdays. The companion blog includes interview excerpts and additional material.

T. Jefferson Parker will speak at the next Pen on Fire Writers’ Salon, 7-9PM on 18 Jan at the Scape Gallery, 2859 E. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar. Tickets are $20, which covers admission and nosh. These events sell out, so register in advance.
Maddie recomends The Write Environment, a DVD series featuring hour-long interviews with leading screenwriters such as Joss Whedon and Damon Lindelof. While the focus is screenwriting, the interviewees tackle topics that apply to writing for print, such as character-building and plotting.
