29 OCTOBER MEETING NOTES

Ten people attended: Burt, Casey, Donna, Glenda (read an article/essay, “Critique Groups: An Unexpected and Personal Benefit”), Jo, Lance, Maddie, Marianna, Rosie and Shari (read three revised chapters from Raised to Win). Burt and Maddie ably led us through a discussion of Part II of our craft-related study reading, How Not to Write a Novel.

News and Notes

Glenda will lead our next dissection of How Not to Write a Novel during our 3 December meeting. Please make sure you finish Part III of the book by then. For your reference, the remaining readings line up like so:

• 3 Dec: Part III – Glenda moderating
• 7 Jan: Part IV – Casey moderating
• 4 Feb: Parts V & VI – Mark H. moderating
