5 NOVEMBER MEETING NOTES

A bumper eleven people attended (and seven brought readings — perhaps a record): Burt, Casey (read a chapter from The Boy Who Couldn’t Fly), Donna, Glenda, Jo (read a chapter from Moonspell), Lance, Maddie, Marianna (read a chapter from Red Snow, Gold Clouds), Mark H., Rosie and Shari.

News and Notes

Casey unveiled the trade paperback edition of A Love Life Like Karmic Disaster, better known to PFL members as Francine Stein. It will be loosed upon the world shortly — more details to follow.

The annual PFL Holiday Party will take place on 10 December at Marianna’s house. More details, including maps and signup sheets, will appear in the year’s last three meetings.

Glenda will lead our next dissection of How Not to Write a Novel during our 3 December meeting. Please make sure you finish Part III of the book by then. For your reference, the remaining readings line up like so:

• 3 Dec: Part III – Glenda moderating
• 7 Jan: Part IV – Casey moderating
• 4 Feb: Parts V & VI – Mark H. moderating
