14 FEBRUARY MEETING NOTES

Ten people attended: Casey, Glenda (welcome back!), Jo, Joanne, Lance (read a revised chapter from Hot Pots), Leighanne (read a chapter from The Karma List), Lisa W., Maddie, Rosie (read a chapter from The Lion and the Eagle), and potential new member Lily.

News and Notes

Rosie has signed a representation contract with agent Katelyn Uplinger of the D4EO Agency. The deal includes her YA sports romance On Thin Ice and her alternative-history novel The Lion and the Eagle, both of which have been through the PFL mill. Congratulations, Rosie!

The next LIT UP! is happening at 7:00 p.m. on 19 February at Bardot Bars & Coffee, 662 El Camino Real, Tustin. You can download posters here (1-up and 2-up). The lineup:

• Hard-boiled crime writer Matt Coyle.
• Crime thriller author David Putnam.
• Police procedural writer Patricia Smiley.
